Mr. Lander has provided engineering/ forensic consulting and construction/ management services for the past twenty-five years. He earned his degree in Architectural Engineering from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo. Prior to a career as an engineer, he practiced as a hands-on, licensed general contractor concentrating on residential construction and tenant improvement.

Application of science, engineering and construction knowledge is a passion for Mr. Lander and presenting facts for sound/ conclusive insight is the sole focus of his practice. Thousands of residential and commercial structures and or sites have been inspection by Mr. Lander in support of property loss assessment and cause and origin determination.

Forensic property loss evaluations/analyses expertise includes, assessment of structural damage caused by fire, wind, flood, soil subsidence, water intrusion, impact, construction defects, as well as cause and origin of structural failures. Investigations/analyses have often included comprehensive code evaluations Endeavors also include post‐earthquake structural damage evaluation (2001‐Nisqually Earthquake, WA; 2011‐Virginia, 2014 La Habra, 2014 Napa). Catastrophe response have included assessments of structure/land damage evaluation after the Montecito Slide and all of the 2018-19 Southern California wildfires.
